Evan was born in Texas and grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. Although he grew up a pastor's kid, it was not until he was in college at Northwestern University that he began to to seek the Lord, and in that time God opened his eyes to His beauty and glory in the Bible. God also began to grow an interest in Evan for global missions, as Evan went on short-term trips to China, Tunisia, and Turkey over the years. Evan and his wife Helen were married in 2019, and now have two sweet boys, Zion and Jordan. Evan is grateful to help serve the church in enjoying and proclaiming Christ in Chicago and abroad!
