Sunday Sermons

Getting Into God's Word

Preaching is a big deal at Immanuel. We preach primarily through books of the Bible. Take a look or a listen to how we approach the Bible from the sermon archive on the right. Right now we're in the middle of an ambitious and long-term plan to preach through the Pentateuch, the first five books of the Bible: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. Placed inbetween will be corresponding New Testament books: Ephesians, Matthew, Hebrews, Jude and capped off with Romans!

Ministries

We are intentionally program-lite. We offer a few ministries shown below that also provide avenues for people to serve in. But the main way we desire people to be involved in Immanuel is to get involved in the neighborhood. We created a website with all kinds of ways to serve the UIC Area. We also want to focus our energies on constantly spinning off new churches in the city.
